Phew! First time to catch my breath today and what feels like the last 5 weeks or so when I seriously decided to go on this trip. I'm now sitting in the departure lounge, gate 19 at 9:30pm waiting to board and experience my longest flight so far, just under 12 hours although that will be topped by subsequent even longer flights on this trip! Probably the first of many firsts. What has really touched me recently, at the fear of making many of you vomit, is the love I have felt from so many and all your well wishes. It means a lot, really. Anyway back to business! I need to try to sleep on this flight, so bring on the booze! Lol
